Apple prohibits the Hollywood defame the good name of iPhone
Product placement is a special kind of advertising, in which the device has not popped in the face to the consumer, as it were, all the time gently is somewhere in the background. Each company has its own agreement with the same film studios, in which they discuss how their product can be presented to the viewer, and how not. But particularly interesting was the approach to this issue from Apple.
So, the iPhone maker is literally prohibits all Hollywood to tarnish “the good name” of your smartphone, so you will never see in a movie villain who would use a mobile phone from Apple. This was told by Director Ryan Johnson within an interview with Vanity Fair.
”There’s a funny thing, I don’t know if I should say this or not… Because it can directly reveal the card to the audience in my next film, but I’ll tell you anyway, because it’s very interesting. Apple… they allow you to use your iPhone in the movies, but (and this is very important) the bad guys on the screen may not have the iPhone. So now every Director in the movie which has villain wants to kill me,” — said the Director of such films as “looper”, “Get knife”, “Star Wars: the Last Jedi”, etc.
