Apple will attract LG to manufacture the iPhone X and iPhone X Plus
One of the prerequisites of setting the price at $999 for iPhone X steel OLED displays, which exclusively supplies Samsung, dictating their conditions. Apple aims to change this situation is the involvement of another provider, but sufficient resources for a significant supply of OLED panels yet neither JDI nor LG, which previously engaged in the supply of LCD screens for the company.
However, LG have been working in this direction, and now, according to South China Morning Post, ready to ship in 2 to 4 million displays for the needs of the iPhone X and iPhone X Plus. Note, this figure is paltry against the background of the planned sales blowing flagships, however, and it can be a tool of pressure on Samsung to the issue price. Apple refused to comment on this information. With or without LG, iPhone X and iPhone X Plus will be presented in September.
