Call of Duty: Mobile has become the most downloaded mobile game in the first week
Shooter Call of Duty: Mobile showed the best results in the first week after launch, becoming the most downloaded mobile game in history for a specified period. According to preliminary estimates, the project is downloaded over 100 million times, and users have spent about $17.7 million.
Data provided Analytics firm Sensor Tower, which notes that Call of Duty: Mobile has surpassed recent record holder, Mario Kart Tour, which reached 90 million downloads during the first week.
For comparison: in the first week PUBG Mobile downloaded 28 million times, while Fortnite within the App Store has reached 22.5 million downloads. It should be noted that PUBG Mobile was created in partnership with Tencent and PUBG Corp., while the first also holds a stake in Epic Games.
Despite his success, Call of Duty: Mobile brought its creators less money than Fire Emblem Heroes ($28.2 million) during the first week. To say nothing of Fortnite, which is not even approached them with their $2.3 million.
Statistically Call of Duty: Mobile was more popular on iOS (56%) than Android (44 %). IOS users also spent more money — $9.1 million in the App Store versus $8.3 million in Google Play. Popularity of the project leads in the U.S. (almost 17.3 million downloads), and the top three closes India and Brazil.
