Huawei has published its financial results for the year 2019
Today Huawei published a report on the financial results for the year 2019, evidence of high efficiency of its activities. Income from global sales of Huawei in 2019 amounted to 858,8 billion yuan (121 billion U.S. dollars), which is 19.1% more compared to the same period last year.
Net profit amounted to 62.7 billion yuan (8.8 billion U.S. dollars). Cash flow from operating activities reached 91,4 billion yuan (12.8 billion U.S. dollars), an increase of 22.4% compared to last year. Under the long-term and sustained investment in technological innovation and research, Huawei has invested 15.3% of income in 2019 — of 131.7 billion yuan (18.6 billion U.S. dollars) in research activities. The total cost of the research and development of Huawei over the past decade, more than 600 billion yuan (84.6 billion US dollars).

More than 700 cities and 228 of the companies listed in the Fortune Global 500 around the world have chosen Huawei as a partner for digital transformation. In 2019, Huawei announced a strategy in the field of computing to promote intellectual world. Within its framework, the company launched the world’s fastest AI Ascend the processor 910 and cluster for learning artificial intelligence Atlas 900. In 2019, the revenue from sales of units of the Huawei Enterprise Business Group amounted to 89,7 billion yuan (12.6 billion U.S. dollars), which is 8.6% more compared to last year.
Unit consumer technology Huawei Sopima Business Group continues to show steady growth. Shipments of smartphones over the past year as a whole amounted to 240 million units. The company will continue to develop a comprehensive ecosystem of artificial intelligence for all usage scenarios and devices, in particular PCs, tablets, wearable gadgets and smart screens. In 2019, the revenue from sales of units Huawei Sopima Business Group has made 467,3 billion yuan (65.9 billion U.S. dollars), exceeding by 34% the figures for the previous year.
