Microsoft is experimenting with Surface tablets on the Snapdragon
Network sources report that Microsoft has developed a prototype Surface, which is based on a hardware platform Qualcomm.
We are talking about the experimental device Surface Pro. Unlike the Surface Pro tablet 6, which is equipped with a chip Intel Core i5 or Core i7, the prototype is on Board the CPU of the Snapdragon family.
It has been suggested that Microsoft is experimenting with gadgets on the platform Snapdragon 8cx. This product combines eight 64-bit cores Qualcomm Kryo 495 and a graphics accelerator Adreno 680. Supported memory LPDDR4x-2133, flash NVMe SSDS and UFS 3.0.
It is important to note that the Snapdragon 8cx can work in tandem with the modem Snapdragon X55, which provides support 5G networks with data speeds up to 7 Gbps.
