Participants in multi-day expedition will be 2100 km and will test the capabilities of the new limited series batteries Panasonic
Company Panasonic, known for its environmental initiatives, many years promoting rechargeable Nickel-metal hydride (Ni-Mh) rechargeable batteries eneloop, as a reasonable and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional batteries. This year the company decided to move from words to deeds and to give the batteries a real «test of battle». This was organized by the multi-kilometer expedition across Europe with the participation of three teams, selected through an open vote of users and the jury. Having a minimum of necessary things and rechargeable batteries to power electronic devices, participants will have without any transport to overcome the 2100 km of track and 20 October 2017 to arrive at the estimated point.
By the way, a distance of 2100 km was not chosen randomly. It represents the number of cycles of charge and discharge of eneloop batteries with no loss of initial capacity that is the highest in the industry.
The winning team, which came to the finish line first will receive the prize of 21,000 euros and will be able to transfer them to the chosen European charities whose activities are focused on the protection of animals, preservation of the environment and the planet as a whole.
Panasonic the initiative is already supported by many well-known companies such as Adventure food, Columbia, Fairphone, Husky, Nordisk, Sparkle, T-Mobile Austria, Xiro, giving members of the expedition, necessary equipment, food and devices.
Company Panasonic annually launches thematic series of eneloop batteries in different colors. Fans of the brand and the organizers of the prestigious awards like «limiti» Panasonic for stylish design and original messages.
