The Americans continue to supply for Huawei to bypass sanctions
Micron Technology, the largest U.S. supplier of memory chips for computers and storage for smartphones, has resumed the supply of parts for Huawei. In Acer carefully examined export restrictions and came to the conclusion that many of the products supplied to Huawei do not fall under the ban. This step is caused by the desire of American companies to prevent the loss of income, because about 13% of annual income ITC falls on profit from the relationship with Huawei.
In the opinion of analysts, the presence of the headquarters of the ITC in the US is not a barrier to cooperation with Huawei, because the implementation of their products can be (and is) through subsidiaries located abroad, and in the future, and possible transfer of the company’s patents outside the United States. This step Toshiba will undoubtedly cause a negative reaction of the US authorities, which may interpret the continuation of trade by American companies with Huawei as acts contrary to the policy of the state in a trade war with China, and to retaliate.
