Apple WWDC 2020 with the announcement of the new iOS version. Contrary to expectations, the rebranding did not happen, so meet, iOS 14! New improvements for users of “Apple” became the conversion in the interface as well as the new offline translator that supports voice input. To the interface changes, in turn, should include the ability to install widgets on the desktop with the possibility of adjusting their size, the feature of grouping apps in the App Library (app sorts the blocks and posts it on a separate desktop) and picture-in-picture (works for watching videos and FaceTime). Updated and many standard apps, including Maps, Messaging, Apple, Car. In addition, Apple finally adapted the “dialer” (will now receive a notification and don’t turn on the whole screen).
Translator Translate Apple offers a “quick and natural translation of voice and text” in 11 languages (Russian among them). As already mentioned, works in offline mode without a Network connection. Changes and Messages: now you can pin chats right on top of the main unit conversations, as well as to manage and configure them (e.g., assign photos, receive notifications on group chats, etc.). Added to iOS 14 and option label apps for quick access to specific features of the application or service (as an example, is served renting a scooter, ordering takeaway food in the restaurant, or install a new device, and it works using QR codes or NFC tags). Cards enhanced with user-driven Bicycle (high climbs, ladders, employment street) and electric vehicles (availability and charge type), as well as range of guides. Paid attention to Apple and privacy issues (including Safari), AirPods headphones (more smooth transition between devices, more fine-tuning of sound for AirPods Pro), Siri (now smarter, maybe out of a voice message) and Apple Car (creation of a digital key via NFC).
iOS 14 will be available to developers today, June 22, but the public beta will be launched in July. The release of the final version of the traditionally held along with the new iPhone, that’s just about when this will happen has yet to be achieved.
