Tissot T-Touch Solar Connect — premium sports watch with a large screen and the semi-autonomy
Rigidly Tissot, owned by Swatch Group, introduced its first hybrid watch T-Touch Solar Connect. At first glance the device, like all hybrid models, almost the same issue of the presence of «smart» functions. However, if you look at the promotional video, you will notice that the watch got a big round display. This means that technically it’s not even a hybrid, but quite a full-fledged sports watch. As for design, it is rather a male model, as indicated by a 47-millimeter diameter device.
Watch is running SwatchOS — operating system focused on ultra-low power consumption. Although, of course, a full-fledged OS, this system is not.
At the moment all the details of new product not yet revealed. Third-party sources say about the various sporting functions, including tracking of trainings and various activities, as well as about the function of the alert notifications. The highlight of the device — a kind of «solar energy system», thanks to which the watch can work offline for up to six months! Probably, it would imply a solar panel.
It is expected that the watch will go on sale in June or July for about $ 1,000. Price including due to the titanium and ceramics.
