Vivo X20 Plus a finger scanner in the screen are certified in China
The company Synaptics, the first mass production of fingerprint scanners, built-in displays, promised at CES 2018 will be presented the first smartphone with such a sensor. It was even stated that it will release a major company, but nothing more was said. Looks like the mystery surrounding this scanner is no longer: the manufacturer will be Samsung, and the model will be called Vivo X20 Plus UD. A device with such a convoluted naming passed the Chinese compulsory certification (CCC).
In its database there are no characteristics of the smartphone (but there is the specs of the charger – 5 V, 4.5 A), no photos, but the main thing the name indicates. Most likely, the abbreviation UD means Under Display, that is, “under the screen”. In this case, we can expect modification of Vivo X20 Plus transferred to the screen with fingerprint scanner. Recall the characteristics of Vivo Plus include 6,43 X20″ screen, 18:9 with a resolution of 2160х1080 pixels, dual camera (12 MP + 5 MP), 12-Megapixel frontalka, chipset Snapdragon 660, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of internal memory, DAC ESS Sabre ES9118 and battery on 3905 mAh.
