ZEISS is back to Nokia
HMD Global, which owns the Nokia brand, and ZEISS announced today the continued partnership designed to set new standards in the field of photography in the mobile industry. The base for this long-term agreement was the common history of the companies and the vast experience of Nokia and ZEISS in the field of mobile photography.
Both companies combine the ambition to improve the quality of shooting on smartphones in all aspects – from software and services to the quality of the screen and optics. Cooperation, which will return the ZEISS optics on the Nokia’s smartphones, would allow the HMD ZEISS and Global jointly develop new standards for the quality of the shot for the entire industry. Exclusive partnership with ZEISS is another example of how the HMD is combined with the most respected players in the industry to create the best smartphones in all aspects of design, Assembly, functionality and software.
The Nokia and ZEISS partnership began over 10 years ago and based on a passion for innovation and desire to develop the best product for the consumer. In the past, the Nokia through cooperation with ZEISS were the world’s first multi-megapixel cameras, and also developed a device that set the standard for the entire industry – from Nokia to Nseries devices with PureView technology.
